Derick joined the agency in 1990 and became a partner in 2005. He attended The University of Arkansas and East Texas State University, where he graduated with a BAAS degree in 1987. He is a 1994 graduate of the Commercial Union Insurance Companies home office training school of agents. Derick is a past board member of Noon Optimist and has served as loaned executive for the United Way of Greater Texarkana.
